In this temporary “photography live streaming studio”, we placed three performing roles: a window ballet model constantly spinning to display, a “standby mode” perpetual NPC in the virtual space, and a main dancer in a girl group who continuously provides emotional labor. They were “exposing” their specific acting identities to the green screen space, leading viewers to project their experiences and imaginations onto different identities and allowing them to “dress, endow the roles with scenes, and even give them gifts and rewards”. The fourth role was the screen itself, which constantly transformed and projected images and mapped its own two states, attempting to connect the two different space inside and outside. However, no matter in what form we shared our acting roles, the performer's true identity never was or didn’t need to be discovered.
